Privacy Policy
Effective October 16, 2026
Mojo is built so your chats stay yours and sharing is always your choice. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Mojo is operated by Localhost41, Inc. ("Mojo", "we", "us"). If you have questions, email [email protected].
What we collect
- Account details. Your name, email address and profile details, like the look of your Mojo.
- What you send Mojo. Your messages, questions and any files or images you upload.
- Memory. Details Mojo remembers to make your answers more useful. You can see and delete these.
- What you choose to share. Things you make and share, posts in your circles, and the circles you join.
- Community activity. Pats, uses and remixes of shared content.
- Device and usage data. Basic technical information like your device type, browser, IP address, crash reports and how you use the app, so we can keep Mojo working and secure.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and run Mojo.
- To bring relevant content that others have chosen to share into your answers, with credit to whoever made it.
- To keep Mojo safe, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To improve Mojo and build new features.
- To contact you about your account or important changes.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Private by default
Your chats and memory are private to you. We don't show them to other people, and we don't use your private chats or memory to train models that other people use.
When you choose to share something, like a study guide, a photo style or a post in a circle, it becomes visible to the people you shared it with. Mojo may bring it into their answers, with credit to you. You can stop sharing at any time. Copies other people have already saved may remain with them.
Who we share data with
We don't sell your personal information, and Mojo doesn't show ads. We share data only:
- With service providers who help us run Mojo, like hosting, storage, email and the model providers that process your messages to generate answers. They may only use your data to provide their services to us.
- With other Mojo users, for content you choose to share.
- If required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of our users and the public.
- As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to your data.
Some features may run on your own device, in which case that processing stays on your device.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete a chat, a memory or your account, we delete the related data from our active systems within 30 days, and from backups on their normal schedule, unless we need to keep it for legal reasons.
Your choices and rights
- See, edit or delete your memory at any time.
- Delete individual chats or your whole account.
- Stop sharing content you've shared.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR, the CCPA or PIPEDA. To make a request, email [email protected]. We won't discriminate against you for using your rights.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your login private.
International transfers
We and our service providers may process data in countries other than where you live, including the United States and Canada. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Children
Mojo isn't for children under 13, or under the minimum age required in your country. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Mojo changes. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.
